Some time has past since Mr. Roberts was sent back to save Adele. Roberts has stayed with Adele and is raising her as his niece, they can only hope to evade their past and face the future together.

Oh my frigging GOD !!!
First of all : YOU KILLED ME?!??! And I don't even smoke ... at least I don't think I do, but with all this realitybending, who really knows?!
Secondly : AWESOME !!! Such a mindbending beautiful page ... and you made a fantastic contribution to the storyline. I simply wouldn't have known how to continue from the previous page, but you totally made it work to your advantage.
Looks like it's yet another new chapter in the saga of Almost Real!

I was really impressed with this page and its concept, Mark! Very cool way to follow up... I like the time transition, and the idea of Robert raising Adele.
I'd be interested to know how you did the art here, seeing how it's almost photorealistic (heh, "almost real"... although it's apparent that the banana split is a photo). BTW, I love the coloring job in every panel... some really nice and yet subtle usages.

Im also one of the impressed here - It is really well done and is one of the few occasions that I dont mind photos in jams. Also curious how you did that page.

I'm very humbled by you guys, thank you! I did a pencil layout and inked in flash then colored and some photo manip and lettering in painter. I'm not too happy with the sundae... though I wanted it to stand out so that you might think Adele changed the blocks into a banana-split.
Can I blame it on staying up late?
Oh, sorry about that Kim... I couldn't help it. The idea came to me when I thought about Almost Real starting it all and now coming to an end is like a part of you coming to an end.

Very awesome page Mark. I love your use of blacks they really make the page stand out. The coloring is also great and adds tons to the page, especially that last panel. This does feel like a new chapter even though the chapter we were in was only a few pages old. I too really like the idea of Robert raising Adele and her increased power level should be fun to watch play out.
Alas poor Kim, I knew him well. We all knew the dangers of smoking, lest we forget the lessons Prey taught us.

Did you see a countdown button anywhere Kim?
As far as I know, the Almost Real Jam will run until the end of times. Even if it gets messy
And I would rather see this as a well done fast-forward page, than a new chapter.
