The force field had me stumped with ideas to follow up until I remembered the lab was supposed to blow up and kill everyone except Frankenheimer (again using page 41 as reality). So with Robert back in time (thanks to Adele) having snatched the first Adele clone, the child now awakens outside, and Robert gets to witness the explosions firsthand and in complete safety. Since Frankenheimer was supposed to be the only one alive, Adele's mom gets snatched into a dimensional vortex. So was Robert sent back in time by Adele to save more than just the first clone (and thus recreating reality himself)? We'll see.

It's been a long while since working on Almost Real (page 13) and I'm totally blown away as to how far this story has come. This page is awesome!
